Iran exports $27.6m hand-woven carpets to US in 4 months
EghtesadOnline: Head of Iran National Carpet Center Hamid Kargar said that after implementation of the JCPOA, carpet exports to US grew and $27.6m of hand-woven carpets was exprted to US in the first four months of the current Iranian year (beginning on March 20).
Speaking in a press conference, Kargar said that before 2010, carpet exports to US was about $80m, but it reached zero during the imposed sanctions.
He noted that the total value of Iranian carpet exports was $83m in four months, adding that this amount had 39.5% growth in value compared with the same period previous year, according to IRNA.
